"Zukunftskonferenz 2023": OMEI lets companies participate in the project

E-mobility is one of the key technologies for a climate-friendly and efficient future. But how can it be optimally designed and used?

To answer this question, the "Zukunftskonferenz 2023" took place on Thursday, October 26th in the Grafenau Culture Pavilion. The conference was aimed primarily at companies in the region that can benefit from the innovative research project OMEI - Open Mobility Electrical Infrastructure.

The conference offered exciting insights into the latest findings and experiences from science and industry on the topic of “Sustainable energy supply through e-mobility with hybrid storage and V2X”. The project partners University of Passau and TZ Energie (HAW Landshut) presented their current research results, while renowned companies such as Technagon, Fenecon, EVG Perlesreut, Mer Germany presented their practical solutions and products. The participants also had the opportunity to obtain information and exchange information at the stands of the OMEI project partners.

Government Director Ulrike Moetzel from the Federal Ministry of Digital and Transport also gave a keynote speech, describing the OMEI project as one of her “lighthouse projects” for the sustainable mobility of tomorrow.

The conference was organized, among others, by the ILE Ilzer Land, which is increasingly concerned with topics of the future and wants to actively support the region's entrepreneurs with investments and knowledge transfer. With events such as this OMEI conference, the Ilzer Land wants to invite companies in the region to participate in the success of the project.

The OMEI "Zukunftskonferenz 2023" was a complete success! A big thank you to everyone involved and the numerous visitors to the event.
